Mentoring sessions and Academy live sessions: your image and voice, because sessions are recorded.

We do not buy data or combine it with other sources.

To answer your message or booking request. Legal basis: handling your request before a possible contract.

To send you the newsletter, with news, behind the scenes of the films and information about upcoming courses. Legal basis: your consent, given when you subscribe and withdrawable at any time.

To deliver the courses, workshops and mentoring you buy and issue invoices. Legal basis: performing the contract and our legal obligations.

To protect the forms from spam with a verification service. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

One-to-one mentoring sessions and Academy live sessions are recorded. A mentoring recording is used to send it to you and to support our work together. Live sessions stay available only to community members.

We will never use your image or voice in advertising without your express consent, asked for separately. If you prefer not to appear in a live session, you can turn off your camera.

Only with the providers we need to operate, who process data on our behalf: web hosting, spam protection, newsletter delivery, payment processing and video calls for mentoring.

The Just Love Film Academy community runs on Skool, which handles your data under its own privacy policy.

We never sell or rent your data. We would only disclose it to an authority if the law requires it.

Books & Films Creative Group LLC is based in the United States, as are several of our providers. Where the provider is certified, these transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Otherwise they rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Contact messages: while the conversation is open and up to two years after.

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email.

Purchases and invoices: for the periods required by tax and accounting rules.

Mentoring recordings: up to one year after the session. Academy live sessions: while the community is active.

If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Courses, workshops and mentoring are intended for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, do not send us your data without permission from a parent or guardian.

We use encrypted connections and providers with recognised security measures. No system on the internet is infallible, but if an incident ever affected your data we would notify you as the law requires.
