All programs, products and services on this site are owned by Books & Films Creative Group LLC and operated by Josephine Landertinger Forero under the trade name Josephine LF ("we", "us"). "You" means anyone who buys or uses any of them.

By buying or using our courses, labs, workshops, mentoring or free resources, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. We may update them: each purchase is governed by the version in force on the date you make it.

Our programs and services are intended for people aged 18 or over. By buying, you confirm that you are.

The Just Love Film Academy community runs on Skool: subscriptions, payments and cancellations are governed by Skool's terms. The Academy content and the conduct rules in these terms also apply inside the community.

The final price, including any applicable taxes, is shown before you pay. Payment is made in advance through a secure payment provider. You will receive the confirmation and your access by email.

Courses, labs and workshops are non-refundable. When you buy, you expressly ask for access or the service to start immediately. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as access to the digital content begins or the service is delivered.

If we cancel a workshop or lab ourselves, we offer you another date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Mentoring is paid in advance, when you book. When you pay, you ask for the service to start immediately and understand that once the reading starts, there is no refund.

You get a full refund if you cancel before we confirm by email that we have started working on your material. From then on, there is no refund.

You can reschedule a session if you let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not show up, or give less than 48 hours' notice, the session counts as delivered. Sessions in a programme must be used within its time frame. Sessions not used within that time are lost.

If we have to cancel a session ourselves, we offer you a new date or a full refund.

Mentoring sessions and Academy live sessions are recorded, as explained in the privacy policy. Recordings are for your personal use: you may not publish or share them. You may not record sessions yourself without our permission.

All content in our programs and services is protected by copyright and trademark law: videos, lessons, guides, templates, exercises, slides, texts, design and the Josephine LF and Just Love Film Academy marks. It belongs to Books & Films Creative Group LLC or its licensors.

When you buy, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the material for your own learning. You are not buying the content itself, only the right to use it under these terms.

Copying, downloading beyond what is provided, sharing, reselling, publishing, uploading to other platforms or translating any program material, in whole or in part.

Using it to build your own courses, workshops or products, or presenting it as your own.

Sharing your account or access with anyone else.

Using our marks, titles or logos without written permission.

Unauthorised use may lead to loss of access without refund and to any legal action that applies. If you want to use any content another way, ask first at ${MAIL}.

You may download and print free resources for your personal or professional use, as long as you credit Josephine LF with a link to this site and keep the authorship notices. You may not sell them.

Your scripts, ideas and projects remain yours. We will not use or share them outside the course or mentoring without your permission.

You allow us to show what you post in the community inside the community. We will only use your testimonial, name or work in our communications with your express permission.

We expect respect in sessions and in the community. Harassment, insults, spam and illegal content or content that infringes other people's rights are not allowed. If someone seriously breaks these rules, we may suspend their access.

Our programs and mentoring are educational. We share experience, tools and judgement, but we do not guarantee results: funding, festival selection, sales, distribution or work depend on many factors and on your own decisions.

We do not give legal, tax or financial advice. For production, co-production or distribution contracts, consult a professional.

We do our best to keep access to the programs running without interruption, though there may be pauses for maintenance or technical faults. We are not responsible for how third-party platforms such as Skool or the payment provider work.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

You can stop using a program at any time by writing to mail@josephine-lf.com. If you break these terms, we may remove your access. The intellectual property terms still apply afterwards.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of New Mexico (United States). If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection granted by the law of your country of residence and may go to the courts where you live.
